Renee's work with children, adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds has focused on crisis intervention and short and long-term therapy for a wide range of problems including anxiety disorders, depression, Attention Deficit / Hyperactive Disorder (AD/HD), parenting, adjustment disorders and addiction.
Renee is committed to building a collaborative therapeutic relationship and a safe space for clients to address their issues and develop skills to manage their thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
Therapy sessions are tailored to integrate a number of psychological treatments and techniques to provide personalised therapy that resonates with individuals and their unique needs. This includes a variety of evidence-based therapies to suit the individual client.
Renee works with new parents and established families to help manage complex social, emotional and behavioural problems including the assessment and management of AD/HD across the lifespan. She facilitates post-natal parenting groups and is trained in the 1-2-3- Magic Parenting Program, the Cool Kids and Secret Agent Society Programs.
She has experience in crisis support and management including counselling clients in problem gambling, unplanned pregnancy, perinatal depression, relapse prevention and employment assistance.
Renee is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours Degree and a Graduate Certificate of Applied Psychology. She is an approved Medicare and Access to Allied Psychological Services (ATAPS) provider, WorkCover NSW practitioner and a member of the Australian Psychological Society.
